Welcome to CHERN!
We are an organization created to facilitate communication and sharing of knowledge among community hospitals.
We are an informal network whose membership has been solicited through a list of internal medicine program directors in the APDIM community hospital group. We want this critical mass to explore a system of communication that should improve the elaboration of ideas that are important to community hospitals. This ongoing web-based network will facilitate follow-up on ideas discussed at Community Hospital Assemblies of APDIM.
We launched the Journal of Community Hospital Internal Medicine Perspectives (JCHIMP) in May 2011. The second issue was sent out in July 2011, the third issue in October 2011 and the fourth issue in January 2012. Volume 2 Issue 1 publicationdate was April 2012 and Issue 2 was July 2012. Volume 2 Issue 3 is coming up very soon in mid- October 2012!
JCHIMP is a peer reviewed open access journal that serves as a forum for disseminating infomation relevant to community hospitals. Please visit the website www.JCHIMP.net to become a reader, reveiewer and to submit scholarly articles for review.
